Theresa Lou Bader

Theresa Lou Bader, 61 year old Worland resident passed away suddenly on December 12, 2012 at the Washakie Medical Center.

Theresa was born in Thermopolis Wyoming on May 22, 1951 to Arthur and Hazel Maxine (Pearl) Cooper.

She attended school in Worland, graduating from Worland High School in 1969. During her high school years, she loved playing softball and was a member of the Monarch Softball team. This love of baseball continued throughout her life. Following graduation, she attended Casper College where she earned an Associated Degree in Business and Accounting.

On June 25, 1971 Theresa married Lyle R. Bader in Worland. One son, Nicholas, was born to this union. She began work in August of 1980 at First National Bank (later to become Pinnacle Bank) and has been a dedicated employee for the past 32 years. She most recently held the position of Quality Control Auditor for all Pinnacle Banks of Wyoming.

Theresa was an active member and served as treasurer of the local organization of B&PW (Business and Professional Women) Reforestation (or Memorial Trees). She was also an active member and served as Treasurer of the Big Horn Basin Muzzle Loaders. Gorgeous Gals was also on her volunteer list, and she enjoyed being a part of this wonderful group of Cancer Survivors.

Theresa loved the outdoors and camping, where her specialty was Dutch Oven cooking. She was very passionate in her love for her family and friends. She was quiet, but a true friend, always up for helping someone else. She has many nieces and nephews who will always remember her kisses on their cheeks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bill and Leroy Cooper and an infant sister, Peggy. Brother in law Carl Bader

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Lyle Bader, son, Nicholas (Amber) Bader and grandson, Aiden all of Worland; brother, Ed (Becky) Cooper of Ten Sleep, WY and sister, Patty (Larry) Lamb of Douglas, WY; brother-in-law Dale (Joyce) Bader of Thermopolis; sisters-in-law, Rhonda (Mark) Ronning, Kristy (Jon) Pavlus all of Worland, Pam Conley of Lander, WY, Sandra Bader of Baton Rouge, LA; Aunts and Uncles, Gerry Burton of Worland, CJ and Anna Pearl of Basin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her "adopted" Mom, Meg Stark of Worland.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, December 17, 2012 at the United Methodist Church in Worland with Rev. Huston Green officiating. Burial will take place at 1:00 pm in the Ten Sleep Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 16 at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel.
