Obituary

Tommy Sanchez

April 10, 1958- April 18, 2026

Tommy Sanchez, 68, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Worland, Wyoming on April 18, 2026.

He was born on April 10, 1958, in Worland, Wyoming. In his younger years, he had a passion for football and proudly played for the Worland Warriors, something he always enjoyed looking back on.

He later met Karen Allison in Casper, Wyoming, and the two were married. They began their life together in Ohio, welcoming their son, Joel into their blended marriage, joining his two bonus children, Amanda and Christoper. In 1993, Tommy returned to Wyoming, eventually building a career as the General Manager of Plains Tire and Battery. In 1997, he moved his family to Denver, Colorado, before returning once again to Worland in 2004.

Back in his hometown, Tommy spent the next decade working as a paraeducator, a role that reflected his natural ability to connect with and support others. During that time, he also returned to college, earning a degree in Psychology—all while raising his son as a single father. His dedication, resilience, and quiet determination were evident in everything he did.

Tommy lived his life with a "family first" mindset. He consistently put others before himself and showed up for the people he loved in steady, meaningful ways. In March of 2024, he welcomed his first and only grandchild, Anastasia, who quickly became the center of his world. The time he spent with her was something he deeply cherished.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Herminia Sanchez; his brother, Ernie Sanchez; and his son, Christopher Donald Allison.

Tommy is survived by his son, Joel Sanchez of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Amanda Marie Martinez of Hawaii and his beloved granddaughter, Anastasia Josephine Sanchez of Las Vegas.

Cremation has taken place, and a service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
