Obituary
William Charles Bresach
July 25, 1956 – November 8, 2022
William Charles Bresach, 66, passed away at his home in Worland, Wyoming on November 8, 2022.
William was the youngest of four children born to Harry Lawson and Patricia Ann (Nellaman) Bresach, on July 25, 1956, in San Jose, California.
He grew up in California, receiving his high school education at Norwalk High School and graduating with the class of 1974. He continued his schooling at Rio Hondo College, Cerritos Jr. College, Long Beach Jr. College and finally at Long Beach State. Following in his father's footsteps, Bill worked as a machinist in Aerospace. Eventually he moved to Quality Control because it was cleaner, and he was able to make a better living. He worked on a B-1 Bomber, B-2 Stealth, F-117 Stealth Fighter, the F-35 and all four space shuttles. He worked for Rockwell who was contracted by NASA and was fortunate enough to witness the night launch.
In his free time, Bill enjoyed watching sports. It didn't matter if it was high school, college or professional sports, he loved it all. The Raiders held a special place in his heart. In his younger years, you could find Bill at the beach, surfing in the ocean or out on the racetrack fulfilling his need for speed. At one point, he was in a heavy metal band. He was the drummer for "The Street Urchins" and even played one time backing for Chuck Berry at a local concert hall.
Later on in life, Bill appreciated the simpler things, spending time with grandchildren and family. He enjoyed visiting with the community as he worked at Arby's and later McDonald's. Everywhere you looked, you could find Bill with a smile on his face that would light up a room.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Lee Bresach.
He is survived by his stepchildren, James Eugene (Loretta) King of Woodier, California and Tracy Lee (Brad) of California; brothers: Bert (Karen) Bresach of Worland and Steven (Janine) Bresach of Big Bear Lake, California; three step-grandchildren: Christian, Katlyn and Alexis and many nieces and nephews.
As per Bill's wishes, no formal services are planned. Cremation has taken place, and his ashes will be scattered on a few of his most favorite spots. Online condolences may be made at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
