William "Dip" Larkin Sinclair

William “Dip” Sinclair, 78 year old, Thermopolis resident, died on July 14, 2009 at the Pioneer Home.

Bill was born on May 13, 1931 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, a son of Fred and Flora (Bailey) Sinclair. He graduated from Central High School in 1949.

Bill then served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Army. Following his discharge in 1954 he began his education at the University of Wyoming, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

He was married to Barbara Stoll and to this union was born their son Billy.

He began his career with CH2MHILL, an engineering firm based out of Denver, CO. This took his family to Idaho, Utah, Colorado and Wyoming.

During his long career, he worked on many projects throughout the world including the construction of the water/sewage treatment system of San Francisco, CA.

Bill’s hobbies were his work, family and most of all his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son Billy and wife Barbara Sinclair of Worland, brother; Richard (Shirley) Sinclair of Fort Collins, CO, grandchildren Jessica Sinclair of Seattle, WA and Travis Sinclair of Billings, MT.
