Wyola Rose Mabary

Wyola Rose Mabary, 91, passed away at her home in Worland, Wyoming, on July 7, 2026.

She was born on December 6, 1934, in Neiber, Wyoming, to Devon Dee and Polly Opal (Larkins) Brubaker. She grew up in Worland and graduated from Worland High School. After graduation, she met Raymond (Red) Mabary, and the couple married on November 19, 1954. Together they were blessed with three children: Devona, Claude, and Jimmy.

While raising their family, Wyola worked alongside Red in the real estate business in Marshfield, Missouri. Following his passing in 1973, Wyola remained in Missouri, where she worked at a television manufacturing plant for 20 years before retiring.

After retirement, she returned to Worland to help care for her parents. She enjoyed collecting antiques and rare coins and found great satisfaction in spending time in her yard and garden. Although she treasured her independence, caring for others was truly her calling. She worked at the Worland Senior Center, where she touched the lives of many through her kindness and willingness to help. She was always more concerned with doing for others than for herself.

Wyola was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Red; her sons, Claude and Jimmy; and her sisters, Roberta Lell, Lorraine Stevens, and Adell Moseley.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Devona (James) Ward of New Braunfels, Texas; her brother, Harvey (Virgie) Brubaker of Worland; her sister, Marjorie Mason of Worland; her grandchildren, Austin (Allison) Ward of Columbus, Ohio, and Alyssa (Kyle) Woodson of Katy, Texas; and her great-grandchildren, Liberty, Addyson, and Ella.

A graveside service will be held at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, with Jeremias Arellano officiating.
