Zack D. Wilcoxson, 67 year old Worland resident passed away suddenly on July 4, 2010 in Riverton, Wyoming.

Zack was born on May 12, 1943 in Pueblo, Colorado to Gerald and Ruth O. (Allee) Wilcoxson. He was raised in Pueblo where he also graduated from high school.

He married Anne L. Bacon on March 1, 1964 in La Junta, Colorado. The couple lived in Pueblo for a short time where he worked for Jess Hunter Ford Dealership before moving to Colorado Springs where he worked at the Phil Long Ford, in the parts department. In 1967 they relocated to Riverton, Wyoming where they made their home until 1981. During this time Zack worked for Gilpatrick Construction as a supervisor at the Hot Plant for ten years. Taking a job with McMurry Brothers Construction Company, the family moved to Casper, Wyoming in 1981. He then went to work for Rissler and McMurry Construction as a Hot Plant supervisor. In 2003, they moved to Worland where he took a job with McGarvin Moberly Construction. He retired in 2009 as their Safety Director.

Zack’s hobbies included fishing, snowmobiling and doing things with his children and grandchildren, especially fishing. He enjoyed trap shooting as a young man. He loved to travel and spent much time in the mountains or at different lakes. He also loved hunting, dirt biking, bowling and square dancing. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his father Gerald and his brother, Gary.

Zack is survived by his wife, Anne of Worland, his mother, Ruth of Colorado Springs, CO; his son, Todd Wilcoxson of Oklahoma City, OK; his daughter, Shelly Skites of Eugene, OR; his sister, Martha (Dennis) Wolfard of Denver, CO; grandchildren Alec Skites and Taylor Wilcoxson; numerous nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and nephews.
